In this paper, performance improvement of an H-plane wide-angle rectenna integrating a slot-T type magic-T is reported. The H-plane wide-angle rectenna provides good RF-to-DC conversion and wide-angle reception by effectively using both of in-phase and anti-phase components of RF waves received by two pairs of antennas. To improve the gain of antenna with anti-phase feed, narrow slot lines and large spacing of antenna elements are employed. Furthermore, a rectifying diode for the anti-phase component is mounted just at the slot-line output port of the slot-T type magic-T. The improved performances are demonstrated by simulation and measurement. |
