The Directivity Reconstruction Method of Optical Leaky Waveguide Antenna by Phase-less Measurement

(in English) This paper presents a novel antenna pattern reconstruction by phase-less measurement. The circular waffle waveguide (CWWG) which is previously our proposed optical leaky waveguide antenna is used for an evaluation target. The CWWG produces a narrow beam whose angle is tilted by sweeping incident wavelength (1.5 ~ 1.6 μm). To reconstruct the radiation pattern with tilted beam, an aperture distribution including amplitude and phase is required. We reconstruct the radiation pattern from amplitude only. By comparison of simulation result, the proposed method shows reconstruction radiation pattern with enough accuracy.
