Mesh Clustering for Measurement-based Spectrum Database

(in English) A spectrum database is a radio propagation estimation tool for the spectrum sharing. Using the spectrum database, secondary users can reuse the primary spectrum with the interference power constraint. Especially, measurement-based spectrum database can achieve highly efficient spectrum sharing by utilizing statistics of the received power transmitted from a PU. However, the accuracy of the statistics deteriorates when local bias of the observation point in the square mesh or short range power value variation due to the influence of terrain and buildings. In this paper, we propose a method to determine the subject area of statistics by using the mesh clustering. Simulation results show that the error between the measured value and the statistics which is got by the proposed method is smaller than the conventional method even if small amount of stored data at the spectrum database.
