pH sensors using ion-sensitive field effect transistors (ISFETs) are sensitive to temperature variation, which limits their use in IoT applications. The effect of temperature on the threshold voltage and drain current is comprehensively analyzed and revealed by measured temperature characteristics. On the basis of the analysis and measurement, two temperature compensation methods for ISFETs pH sensors have been developed: the isothermal point method and the back-gate bias-control method. So we built a circuit that realizes the proposed method using the 65 nm process Spice model and examined their operation and temperature compensation effect. |
