The Ground-Based Augmentation System (GBAS) is concerned with the aircraft positioning correction for precision landing. The knowledge of background ionospheric condition is required for GBAS operation at any airport. This paper analyzes the quiet-time ionospheric delay gradients based on the single frequency GPS receiver estimation around the Suvarnabhumi airport, Thailand. Specifically, the ionospheric delay gradients, the single difference (SD) receiver clock error and the SD integer ambiguity are obtained from the Kalman filter and adjusted using the LAMBDA method. After the ratio test procedure, the integer ambiguities and the ionospheric delay gradients become fixed solutions. The results show that 60 percent of data passes the ratio test. To increase the success of the ratio test, the satellite elimination in the LAMBDA method is applied. |
