Multiuser multiple input multiple output (MIMO) downlink system is suffered from performance degradation under the movement of users.
Several methods have been proposed to handle this problem, but they consume extra-degrees of freedom for the extension of the zero forcing area and/or require quite high numerical capability for the frequent update of weights.
In this report, a low computational design method based on the concept of block diagonalization is presented, in which only a subset of transmit weights is updated at a certain interval accoding to linearly extrapolated channel prediction.
Through computer simulations, it is verified that the proposed approach shows good performance by choosing adequate parameters even in case of nonmassive transmit array. |
