Investigation on Electrode Configurations for a Capacitive Power Transfer System Using a Receiver Array and a Sheet Transmitter

(in English) Some methods that change the state of transmission resonators have been proposed to transfer electric power to devices wirelessly within a large area. However, they need localization of the receiver and switching mechanisms, which make the system complicated. We propose a large area capacitive wireless power transfer system without complicated mechanisms, which is achieved by configured electrodes and a receiver array. In this paper, we calculated the efficiency of power transfer with interdigital electrodes by simulations, and confirmed that the system can transfer electric power with high efficiency regardless of the receiver position.
