An Experimental Study of Compressive Sensing for Synthetic Aperture Radar

(in English) Compressive sensing has been developed for the past decade to many sensor systems. In this paper, we have described the effectiveness of compressive sensing for SAR imagery on actual Ku-band airplane SAR data. This is probably the first time to unveil the effectiveness of CS to remove azimuth ambiguity on actual airplane SAR system. Finally, we shows that the CS based SAR is powerful tool when we permit the loss of SNR due to observation loss.
