[Poster Presentation] LQG control of squeezing angle fluctuation

(in English) In quantum optics, squeezed states of light are generated by using an optical parametric oscillator (OPO). It is necessary to get high level squeezed states that can be used to generate quantum entangled states. A central issue of an OPO is that the squeezed state suffers from angle fluctuation. This fluctuation makes the state mixed, and as a result the squeezing level is decreased. Currently, a simple proportional feedback control is employed to compensate this fluctuation. In this research, we apply the linear quadratic Gausian (LQG) control method to control the squeezing angle fluctuation. we design an optimal regulator and simulate the closed loop performance.
