SAR Tomography applying DOA estimation methods for height estimation to multi-baseline SAR observation data is one of the promising 3-D imaging techniques for microwave remote sensing. In the DOA estimation on the SAR Tomography, orbit error in the flight-path causes serious error in the DOA estimation. In this paper, we formulate the phase error of the received signal and propose a simple calibration technique by using a reference flat surface area. We show that the defocusing of DOA estimation is removed by the proposed calibration from the imaging results with Pi-SAR2-X datasets. |
