Multi-buffer control considering the number of replication in DTN

(in English) Delay/disruption-tolerant network (DTN) is one of degradation environment networks which enables end-to-end communication in discontinuous networks. DTN uses a store and forward method. In this method, stored data is conveyed by some nodes and forwarded to other nodes. If there are data having different priority, low priority data may be pushed out from buffer by the high priority data. The decrease of arrival rate of the low priority data by such pushing out is one of the crucial issues to be addressed. In this paper, we propose a method considering the number of packet replication. When the buffer is full, the node determines the discard order based on both the priority of packets and the number of replication. Also, the discarded packets aren’t requested during a certain period. From a result, we show that the proposed method increases the arrival rate.
