| (in English) | An Image rejection mixer (IRM) with Poly Phase Filter (PPF) has been commonly used in RF transceiver integral circuits (ICs). Because the conventional PPF is used capacitors and resisters, the characteristic changes by the influence of process and temperature variation and it is difficult to change the characteristic of PPF after production. Therefore, in recent years, the PPF with variable resisters and variable capacitors have been proposed. In this paper, we propose a temperature and process variation tolerant tunable PPF with variable resister using MOSs and negative feedback control that controls the resister value of variable resisters by compering both the DC voltage of variable resister and an IC outside reference resister. The tunable PPF and IRM fabricated in 0.18-um SiGe-BiCMOS acheves the variable characteristic with the resister value of reference resisters. |
