Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) This paper demonstrates signal light carrier automatic pull-in and phase-lock operation to optical frequency comb reference by our newly developed microcomputer-assisted phase-lock loop circuit. The microcomputer assists the oscillation frequency of the slave laser to pull-in to master laser by utilizing binary-search algorism. It achieves 0.45msec automatic phase-locking time when the laser-diode frequency lies within the pull-in range of ±100MHz. And the single side band phase noise is 1.8° at the offset frequency from 10Hz to 5MHz. And Homodyne detection for 20Gbit/sec-QPSK signal achieve 15ms automatic phase-locking time when laser-diode frequency lies apart from ±50MHz and achieve error free .
