| （英） | In a development procedure of SDN applications, network behavior controlled by the developed SDN controller must be investigated using monitoring tools.However, there are many issues to compare forwarding logic of SDN applications with actual forwarding paths, e.g. capturing packets transferred via SDN switches and identifying target messages. In this paper, we will discuss requirements of monitoring functions for testing a communication system utilizing SDN. Based on the extracted requirements, a prototype monitoring tool was implemented, which utilizes pcap for packet capturing, $Elasticsearch$ for storing captured data and Kibana for visualization.The monitoring tool is designed for analyzing forwarding paths and measuring its performance, e.g. a delivery delay. It is currently targeted only to monitor a communication system developed by our research group. And firstly, in order to evaluate the system, CPU load of packet capturing was measured.Then the actual transfer route and the route assumed by the controller were compared.From the results, average CPU load for packet capturing was lower than expected and application layer message tracing works well in several use cases.Measurement results of traffic and messaging delay in the communication system were mentioned to extract remaining issues. | |
