GPU calculation of transmitted field for Fiber Bragg Grating

(in English) Results of FBG transmission properties from two and three-dimensional case show a slight difference in center of reflected frequency but have a similar characteristic pattern. In three-dimensional case, up to 100x faster simulation time by using GPU computation was obtained with indistinguishable results in transmission properties compared to CPU calculation results both in time and frequency domain. Some simulation with parameter changes in the grating structures also conducted. Higher grating refractive index value affect in smaller value of transmission amplitude in specific frequency, and the center of transmission frequency drop is slightly shifted to lower frequency value. Longer grating period will reflect lower frequency. Longer total grating length will affect to the lower transmission value. Chirped FBG (CFBG) show a wider broadband reflect compared to the uniform FBG type, with a weaker reflectance.
