Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page) 
(in English) Based on the theory of coupled line,
an equivalent circuit and equations of a balun composed of N coupled transmission lines presented.
The equivalent circuit and the equations make circuit design easy. We designed a balun using a standard 180-nm complementary metal-oxide-semiconductor process, and it was shown that the equivalent circuit and equations is practical.
