The spread of public WiFi service causes the threat of malicious wireless access points (APs). Malicious APs pretends to be an legitimate public WiFi service provider to damage wireless users such as information leakage or malicious attacks. In this paper, we proposes a new method for malicious APs detection. Malicious AP can be detected using information obtained from traffic relayed by malicious APs between legitimate public APs and wireless clients. |
