[Poster Presentation] A Study on Theoretical Analysis of Bit Error Rate in Coded SC-FDE Transmission

(in English) SC-FDE is a promising technique to realize broadband uplink transmission which requires a transmitter with lower cost because of its attractive features of a low PAPR and robustness against frequency selective fading. In respect of the performance evaluation of SC-FDE, the theoretical formula of the instantaneous SINR has been derived so far, which can dramatically reduces computational load. In this report, we theoretically analyze the BER of coded SC-FDE base on the theoretical results of SINR. In our analysis, theoretical channel coding gain under AWGN is adopted for the theoretical SINR of the FDE outputs because the SINR characteristic is considered to be flat within an FDE block. The validity of the proposed approach is confirmed by the agreement with the computer simulation results.
