A Study on Spread Slotted ALOHA with Different Sequence Length for WBAN

(in English) In recent years, Wireless Body Area Network (WBAN) technology is receiving attention because of aging society problem. In IEEE 802.15.6 which is one of the international standard, hybrid MAC protocol that has Superframe structure combined with contention basis and contention free protocol is adopted. And Slotted ALOHA is used as the contention based protocol in the standard. In this paper, we consider Spread Slotted ALOHA which enables simultaneously receive several packets in a collision. Generally, an equal length sequence is used in conventional Spread Slotted ALOHA. But, we proposed a Spread Slotted ALOHA with different length sequence to provide different QoS for each application.
