Construction, Encoding, and Decoding of Polar Codes with Multilevel Polarization for $q$-Ary Input Generalized Erasure Channels

(in English) On polar codes, the size of the alphabet to be considered grows double-exponentially with the number of polar transformations.
As for binary erasure channels case, we can analyze the polar transformation of the binary erasure channel by the recursive calculations for the erasure probabilities with the fixed size of the alphabet.
There are $q$-ary input generalized erasure channels, whose polar
transformation can be analyzed by the recursive calculations for the
erasure probabilities with the fixed size of the alphabet.
We consider the encoding, code construction, and decoding of polar
codes for $q$-ary input generalized erasure channels.
