A method of receiving control signals for ISDB-T mobile television receivers

(in English) This report examines a method of receiving the automatic wake-up signals for detecting events of the Emergency Warning System (EWS) and the Earthquake Early Warning (EEW) on ISDB-T (Integrated Services Digital Broadcasting-Terrestrial) signals. These wake-up signals are sent in specific subcarriers of OFDM (Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing ) modulated broadcasting signals. For mobile television receivers where they encounter a higher bit error due to the frequency selective fading, the frequency diversity over the subcarriers that contain the same message is required. In this report, the digital signal processing in the digital low intermediate frequency (low IF) structure is considered and the demodulation method with the matrix representations over the subcarrier frequency components is proposed.
