Improvement of Trust Value Prediction Using Text Mining for Recommender System
Incheon Paik, Tomoya Maemori (UoA) SC2016-12
Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) Recommender system will help to provide a list of items information that users are interested in. And with growth of social network service on the Internet, not only studies content-based and collaborative filtering, but trust-based recommender systems have been studied actively. In the trust-based recommender systems, important research issue has been to find optimal trust values by a method optimum initial trust value and effective trust updating.
In this paper, we proposed a method to calculate the initial trust value from user’s comments to product reviews by machine learning technology. In our model, we use trust-based propagation model to calculate initial trust values, and use feedback-method idea to update trust-network. We evaluate performance of recommender system by these methods.
