| (in English) | Using web services often requires inputting passwords. However using only passwords endangers security because serious damage is often caused owing to passwords leaks. Accordingly, other information such as secret questions or one-time passwords is also often required. Meanwhile, a security technique for paper documents called visual cryptography (VC) has been proposed. This divides a paper into several encrypted papers, managed by more than one person. These can be decrypted visually by stacking them exactly, but they cannot be decrypted individually. This paper considers a system for decrypting passwords encrypted by VC using digital devices. | |
