Super Resolution of MR images via TV-minimization in Signal Space and Spectrum Fitting in Fourier Space

(in English) In usual MRI, one of three directions of spacial resolution is lower than other directions, with their slices shifted. Voxel values of MRI are obtained as averages for their small peripheral area by partial volume effects, which are observed as the lack of high frequency components in Fourier space. In this paper, we propose a new method to reconstruct a high resolution MRI from multiple low resolution MRIs which are measured for various directions. We introduce TV-norm minimization to the classical super resolution method and demonstrate its performance with a
simple simulation. Finally, we report the results in a medical application for the MRI of mouse-pancreas.
