(in English) In the long distance optical subscriber systems the mutual optical amplifiers between subscribers and central offices are attractive for future power-saving economical systems. In this study, we are developing the bismuth-doped silica optical fiber amplifier in 1300 nm band fabricated by the VAD method and discussing the possibility of the cascaded Bi-Er doped optical fiber amplifier transmission systems in 1300nm and 1550nm bands.
