(in English) Collision avoidance radar system for automobile is important use case of millimeter wave radar. For realizing extremely high-resolution radar system is also required for various infrastructure surveillance systems. Since the spatial resolution scales with the wavelength, it is advantageous to use millimeter-wave frequencies for high-resolution radars. In addition to small wavelength, 90GHz-band frequencies has relatively small absorption loss compared with 60GHz-band frequencies. We will report outline of the system architecture, recent evaluation results in Narita Airport runway.
