A long lifetime of sensor nodes is one of the key
points to construct a sensor network. An on-demand wireless
network is one of the wasteful power consumption reduction
methods. Each sensor node has a single function. By performing
wake-up according to function,the power consumption is further
reduced. In this paper, an on-demand wireless network using
multi-carrier vode-division multiple-access (CDMA) with modified
pseudo orthogonal M-sequence sets (MPOMS) is proposed.
The detection probability of wake-up signal and the false-alarm
probability of wake-up signal are derived. The communication success probability
is evaluated.
Consequently, it is found that the detection probability taking into
account false-alarm probability converges on 1 when the wake-up signal
energy to noise power spectral density ratio ($E_s/N_0$) $ > 16[{rm dB}]$. |
