Blurring often occurs in point cloud attributes, e.g., textures and normals on 3D models, because of motions of objects and/or out-of-focus of lenses. However, since the deblurring methods based on spatial-frequency analysis are only adjusted to images, they cannot directly be applied to such data placed irregularly. In this report, we propose a deblurring method of irregularly-structured point cloud attributes by using graph signal processing (GSP). Graph signals consist of vertices and weighted edges which connect vertices. We consider point cloud at- tributes as graph signals by defining edges connecting them. Our method is inspired by multi-Wiener SURE-LET deconvolution, which is an image deblurring method. We restore the blurred textures on 3D models and report numerical and perceptual improvements. |
