L3-less Packet Transport Architecture: NFV/SDN-oriented Mobile Transport in the 5G and beyond

(in English) We propose a new mobile transport architecture for the 5G and beyond, namely L3-less Packet Transport Architecture. This proposal solves the bottleneck of the evolution towards 5G, which stems from IP-based packet transport. In addition, we enhance our architecture from the perspective of scalability with a novel packet transport technology, namely Virtual Port-based Source Routing. We show the advantages of our proposals from the current standard architecture qualitatively, in terms of simplicity, efficiency, capital expenditure, availability, responsibility, and scalability.
