[Poster Presentation] Estimation of Parameters in a Qubit Channel with the Help of Entanglement with an Ancilla Qubit

(in English) We discuss the estimation of a parameter contained in a quantum channel.
In the standard strategy, we send the system prepared in a certain state into the target channel and measure some observable in the output state to collect measurement data, from which we try to estimate a target parameter.
In this study, we introduce an auxiliary system which is to be entangled with the main system to enhance the precision of the estimation.
We study such a scheme for parameter estimation for a qubit channel, showing that (i) the entanglement with an auxiliary system can enhance the precision of the estimation in some cases but it is not always the case, and that (ii) the optimal input state is not necessarily the maximally entangled state.
