In this report, we evaluate experimental performance of tracking lters using position and acceleration measurements considering sensor fusion of ranging sensors (radar, sonar, etc.) and accelerometers. Our proposed position-acceleration-measured (PAM) filter is compared with an extended Kalman lter (EKF) dened for the assumed system. Experiments using ultrasonic range nders and an accelerometer verify that our proposed PAM filter achieves sufficient accuracy and lower computational load compared with the EKF. |
