Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) Self-organized and mutual emphasized periodic behavior of creatures is often observed in nature. This is called a synchronization that is one of typical phenomena found in nonlinear systems. As an example of them are group emissions of light of fireflies, chorus of crickets and so on. Previous study suggested LED fireflies that constructed from an RC square wave generator in order to simulate the synchronization of fireflies.
In this paper, we propose LED firefly constructed by two comparators.
This circuit has wider range of parameter settings of switching threshold and is easier to control synchronization property than typical type of LED firefly.
Also, we describe the synchronization mechanism for their two optical-coupled system.
