Removal of Liquid in a Wavy Elongated Pore by High-Intensity Aerial Ultrasonic Waves and High Pressure aerial flow

(in English) We experimentally studied a method which a liquid that has entered a elongated pore with open ends can be removed from the pore by using acoustic radiation force generated by high-intensity aerial ultrasonic wave at a frequency of 20 kHz. In this method, it has expected that the liquid can be removed effectively because a sound wave invaded easily to the pore with a complicated shape for which the liquid removal is difficult by an air stream. In previously study, it has clarified that this method instantaneously removed the liquid that has entered the elongated pores with linear shape and L shape (0.6 mm : diameter, 20 mm : length). However, this method had a problem that a droplet on the wall of pore couldn’t be removed completely by the sound wave irradiation. In addition, the droplet on the wall of pore remained to be trapped by the standing wave which has formed in the hole was also the problem. Therefore, we proposed a new method is used high-intensity aerial ultrasonic wave and air stream to attempt an improvement of removal performance to remove the residual liquid.
