Distortion Correction of Observed Speech with Optical Microphone Using Reflected Laser

(in English) It is very important for security and surveillance to obtain the distant-talking speech. However, it is difficult for general microphone to obtain the indoor speech from out of building. We therefore focus on a vibration measurement method with a laser light. When someone speaks or shouts in a building, some objects are vibrated by the speech. The vibration of the object can be measured as the speech. The observed signal is distorted depending on a material of the vibrated object. In addition, the signal is degraded by some noises. The proposed method thus applies the digital signal processing for correcting the distortion.
