| (in English) | We are able to selectively concentrate on the desired acoustic information in the environmental sounds. The aim of this study is to implement selective listening system, which allows a user to choose the sounds that he/she wants to listen to and hear them as he/she likes. In this paper, we explain the methods of efficiently selecting the acoustic signals. This method will used to let our system offer the sounds to the user. A binary representation is used to show whether the sound from each direction will be presented or not, then there are totally 2N combinations. We call this representation an attention listening pattern. We proposed the mrthods of deciding the order to present the patterns so that the Hamming distances between the adjoining patterns are minimized on a three-dimensional space. This proposal is expected to allow the users to choose the appropriate pattern efficiently. We conducted a listening experiment assuming there are three separated signals in terms of easiness to compare the patterns. The results of the experiment indicated the effectiveness of the proposed method. |
