A consideration on a 15 GHz beam adjustable microstrip antenna array

(in English) This paper presents beam adjustable microstrip antenna arrays (BA-MSAAs). The BA-MSAA consists of a microstrip antenna (MSA) and two parasitic MSAs with a variable reactance circuit (VRC) arranged at the both sides. The radiation pattern of the BA-MSAA can be controlled by a reactance of the VRCs. Beam adjustable antennas are effective for future high-speed mobile communication systems with high frequencies. In this paper, beam adjustable performances of a 15 GHz BA-MSAA are investigated by simulation and measurement.
