A Prototype Visibile Light V2V Communication and Ranging System Using Spread Spectrum Technique

(in English) This paper describes a prototype visible light Vehicle-to-Vehicle (V2V) communication and ranging system using spread spectrum techniques. The prototype uses visible light communication via LED and photodiodes, with direct-sequence spread spectrum techniques. Some experimental tests verify the viability of this system. The received signal after amplification, waveform shaping and despread was observed in interrogator and responder. Results demonstrate that even subject to diverse interference, visible light communication is possible. Results also confirm that ranging is influenced by prototype processing delay.
