Wireless power transmission using a resonance method has received much attention triggered by the MIT’s experiment, because the method can transmit power wirelessly with high efficiency to the long-distance. Wireless power transmission using a resonance method, has a problem that transmission efficiency is degraded when RX coil is displaced from TX coil. In this paper, we propose the configuration closely placing two parasitic coils to the TX coil. The size of the parasitic coil is identical to the TX coil. We investigate the transmission efficiency depending on the distance between parasitic coils and on the RX coil position by the analysis and measurement. The result reveal that the proposed configuration can improve transmission efficiency when RX coil is displaced. |
