| (in English) | Observation data of the scientific satellite "Reimei" has been released for public use via the science data archive (DARTS) of ISAS, JAXA. The data consists of thousands of sequences which contain images of auroras in time series. As these data has been archived for researchers, it is hard for ordinary people to pick up highlights among the data. In this paper, an experimental method is introduced to select and compose highlights suitable for outreach use. Also introduced is a method to estimate motion of terrains and auroras, which is supposed to enhance the capability to distinguish highlights. | |
