Measurement and Analysis of Ice and Snow Effect for Magnetic Resonance Wireless Power Transmission

(in English) Recently, wireless power transmission (WPT) to electric vehicles (EVs) in motion is attracting attention. When applying WPT to moving EVs on the road covered with snow, it is necessary to consider the influence of snow because it depends on the thickness and/or dielectric constant of snow. There are some reports studying the influences of aqua or seawater, however, the influence of snow has not adequately discussed yet. In this study, we compare the analysis results using finite element method with the measurement results using network analyzer.
