| (in English) | Extensive reading is a method of language learning that can improve reading comprehension. Extensive reading in English learning is a method to read many sentences that can read without a dictionary. English ability can be improved by using English news as learning materials of extensive reading. Learners can also gain a better understanding of general education and hot topics all over the world. The purpose of our research is to construct a system that supports extensive reading using online English news. This paper describes a system configuration and support functions of the proposed system. It also explains results of vocabulary prediction using SVM (Support Vector Machine) and analysis of the difficulty level of English news. | |
