Recently, smart houses and smart cities have attracted great attention. Smart houses can reduce the power consumption and electricity costs by effectively utilizing the energy storages system and PV~(Photovoltaics).
Furthermore, electricity costs can be reduced by optimizing operating times of electric home appliances.In this paper, we formulate a Mixed Integer Linear Programming(MILP) for optimizing operating times of electric home appliances and selecting the energy storage systems and the number of panels for PV considering the amount of sunlight and selling price shift.We evaluate the proposed method by the numerical experiments from the viewpoints of the number of PV panels and the electrical prices in the summer. |
