(in English) This paper presents a bandpass filter design using microstrip quarter-wavelength resonators to realize 50dB attenuation in the stopband and its experimental evaluation for Microwave Student Design Competition in 2015. In this filter design, a transmission characteristic that can provide both 50dB attenuation in stopbands and design specifications given in Contest is first investigated. Then, we have designed and tested a fourth-order bandpass filter composed of microstrip quarter-wavelength resonators to produce a desired frequency response. As a result, the fabricated filter achieves 49.4dB and 49.6dB attenuations in lower and upper stopbands, respectively, as well as the specified passband response.
