Contention Window Control Scheme for Parallel Transfer in Ad-Hoc Networks

(in English) When ad hoc networks become popular, radio interference in ad hoc networks due to collision causes the same problems on quality of services as in the wireless LANs which also has been densely deployed. Previous researches employed a control method for improving throughput for wireless LAN using capture effect in the case of parallel transfer. Ad hoc networks, however, are considered to have a different network characteristics from wireless LANs. Instead of applying the control method to ad hoc network as it is, we propose and apply a new control method, which is modified from the previous control method. The proposed method shows good performance in a parallel ad hoc network model with effective parallel transfer.
