Wideband 3-Way Wilkinson Power Dividers Using LC-Ladder Circuits

(in English) This paper describes wideband 3-way Wilkinson power dividers using LC-ladder circuits. The proposed dividers consist of multi-section LC-ladder circuits between input and output ports, and output ports are connected each other through external circuits like series RL circuits and two-section LC-ladder circuits and resistors. By connecting an appropriate external circuit in accordance with the number of LC-ladder circuits, proposed dividers can be realized wideband/dualband operation. In order to verify the design procedure, these wideband 3-way Wilkinson power dividers are simulated and fabricated at VHF-band. As a result of simulation and experiment, we can obtain broadband characteristics with a relative bandwidth of over 60% and multi-band operation, which are
nearly agreement with the theoretical results.
