Nation wide sewer pipes built during the high-growth period in Japan have get older and need inspection and maintenance. However, high temporal cost and labor cost makes it difficult.
We have been developing a sewer inspection system using drifting sensor/camera nodes for saving time and labor cost for sewer inspection. This paper reports the design of the sensor/camera node, the wireless network, and data transfer protocol with experiment results. |
