Performance Evaluation of Collaborative Interference Canceller Using Analog RoHR

(in English) Multiple-input and multiple-output (MIMO) technologies will be promising to enhance the down-link throughput in cellular access networks.
However, it will be intractable for mobile terminals (MTs) to implement a number of RF analog front-ends due to the requirement of energy and size on them.
Collaborative interference canceller (CIC) has been proposed to gain the receive antenna diversity by sharing received signals at the other MTs using a higher frequency band.
In this manuscript, we investigate the feasibility of analog radio over higher-frequency radio (RoHR) to share the discrete-time sampled receive signals each other with a higher sampling rate.
The computer simulations are conducted to evaluate the performance of CIC with analog RoHR when independent convolutional-coded orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) signals are transmitted from transmit antennas at the base station.
