Two element loudspeaker system for simultaneous reproduction of two sound sources -- On directivity characteristics --

(in English) For emergency evacuation in the heavily smoked condition, directional sound signage is required to lead people to a specifi c exit. In the previous research, a two element loudspeaker system was proposed for uni-directional sound reproduction using active noise control technique. In this paper, we proposed a two element loudspeaker system for simultaneous reproduction of two sound sources. The proposed system is implemented by off-line and on-line implementation. Directivity characteristics of the proposed system are measured by 36 channels circular microphone array. As a result, we observed effectiveness of the proposed system.
