| (in English) | In this paper, we propose an auditory localization system with multiple smart devices by distributing appropriate sound volumes for each device at each placement. Speaker Array needs both accurate synchronization and positional information in order to create sound localization as desired. In this paper, we propose a speaker array system using multiple devices that are synchronized by sonic pulse signals. Pulse signals of short-duration chirp signals are sent out as original pulses. In order to find accurate peaks of the pulse signals, received pulse signals are modulated by BPSK (binary phase-shift keying) using Barker code. The sonic pulse signals are created by speakers of each device. The detected time delays in sonic pulse signals, that are captured by microphones of each device, are calculated into distances among the devices by least-square method. Finally, the amplitude panning are controlled corresponding to each device's placement in order to create audio localization. | |
