A distinction method for bicycle's traffic violation by behavior detection of the bicycle's driver using motion sensor

(in English) The traffic accident of bicycle is the second most traffic accident in Japan. In addition, 64 percent of bicycle’s riders who had an accident committed a traffic violation. In this paper, we propose a distinction method for bicycle's traffic violation by behavior detection of the bicycle’s driver using motion sensor. We detect bicycle's riders using a Kinect and distinguish traffic violation of the bicycle using Skelton Tracking, tracking time and bicycle’s riding location. As experiments, the Kinect visualize bicycle's rider's front view and we act bicycle's traffic violation actually each outdoors. We evaluate the distinct precision of traffic violation.
